But just look at how much the whole scene has changed over the years! |

I used to dress up when I was younger. Did the CandyKid thing for a little bit.
As much as CandyKids annoy me these days (Just as in I dont like kids coming up to me and writing PLURR on my arms anymore!) I still dont mind them being there. It wouldnt be a 'rave' without them! Maybe Im just used to them being around |

there was a small rave scene up north in my home town in the late nineties early 00's, i caught the very tail end of it. My bestfriends older brother was into it, which got us listening to the music and dj/rave coulture when we were 12.
I wanted to go since i started listening to the music, but my parents didnt let me go until I was 15. I was never peer pressured. I was just really interested in it as a young teen, i thought it was the coolest shit since sliced salami |

Anya pursuaded me to go -
When I was going to Gladstone all my friends had already began going (we were in grade 8) but I thought they would be lame. When I went to Burnaby South in grade 10 I became solid friends with Anya and she convinced me that they were soooo much fun - I believe Trance Gate was my first. |
