But there shouldn't be a need to have a specific day in order for family to get together and spend time as one.
The older I get the more obvious this statement gets I guess. |

I don't worship Christ. Therefore I don't celebrate Christmas. I wake up in the late afternoon with a hangover, stumble into the room and my gifts are sitting there unwrapped. My family knows I accept the gifts out of pure greediness and not Christmas cheer.
Also, I hate eggnog, butter tarts, and candy canes. The only good things about Christmas are the food and the excuse to get loaded and argue with your family. |

I enjoy the time because it is the only time in a calender year that i am able to see all the people i love, and have the reduced schedule to enjoy it. I could care less for pretty much all of the rest. |

I love Christmas.
Decorating, seeing the family, writing people cards, etc. I agree that it's sad that this is the ONLY time of the year we do a lot of things (as friends, family, etc) but I'm not going to complain. If it weren't for Christmas, we probably wouldn't do those things at all. And I'm a giver. I love to think of what people really want, and surprise them with thoughtful gifts from the heart. I love to see the look on their faces when they open it and know that I really took time to come up with something meaningful. |

I love christmas. This is the only time of year my whole family (about 45pl) get to get together. We eat, we laugh, we love. We dont get together really for birthdays or anything.
I love everything christmas..mint mochas, christmas trees, tacky decorations the works! I also LOVE giving presents. Because I believe I am a fantastic shopper and love the excitement of watching people open gifts. Plus my birthday is Jan 1..(still the holidays) which always makes me happy! |
