when they said they 'found a tear' are they talking about the giant effing hole thats in the video? and the controlled deflation was turning the fans off insted of letting them burn themselves out?
also: i like domes too.

Yeah, I'm sure I would purposely fix a small tear in the roof by tearing a giagantic fucking hole in the roof so as to it making a rather loud boom so that it could be heard all about town.

This is merely damage control.

25 year old inflatable roof got a hole in it......so it deflated.

and now they will fix it.

it looks cool, but fuck.......get over it.

yeah you could be right. that thought crossed my mind. but let's say it was just PR...oh well. it's not like the whole building fell down, so it's not really that big of a deal.

i'm not sure how you would fix an inflatable roof that big if the tear was substantial. wouldn't it be hard to patch it up with so much air pressure running through it?

Maybe it was a science experiment to see if we let enough warm air from inside the dome... it would warm up vancouver enough to make the snow stop. Seemed to work imo yesterday with the weather we had before and after the dome colapced!?!
