Chris Benoit & family found dead

The wrestling entertainment world is acknowledging a sad loss today of The Crippler Chris Benoit. No details have been released yet aside from the fact that 40y/o Chris, his wife, and 7 y/o son were found deceased in their home in Atlanta.

Tonight was supposed to be a special 3hr edition of Raw paying respect to the fake death of Mr. McMahon but seeing as a real tragedy has struck the organization they have changed the programming to a 3hr tribute to Benoit. It starts at 6pm on Score.

A sad day for anyone who was ever a fan of wrestling.

i've been hearing it on many news outlets. Doubt they would fake something like this - if they were to fake a death it's usually done on-screen (i.e. the vince mcmahon angle).

"Authorities confirmed that Chris Benoit, his wife Nancy and their 7-year-old son, Daniel, were found dead at the home on Quarters and Redwine roads in Fayetteville about 4 p.m."

kinda crazy, his wife was a character in the WWE as well, and a 7 year old kid?! either freak accident or total hit

his wife was never in WWE - she was in WCW tho

holy shit...... totally stunned.... I normally get my "backstage" information and stuff from www.lordsofpain.net but that site is just loaded with hits that nobody can't get to it.... I hope this is not a murder suicide because I know that there was some doubt in regards to contracts being renewed and shit and he was under alot of pressure as a result....

No motive offered by officials in deaths of Chris Benoit, wife and son

FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. — Pro wrestler Chris Benoit strangled his wife, suffocated his 7-year-old son and placed a Bible next to their bodies before hanging himself with a weight-machine pulley, authorities said Tuesday.

Benoit’s 43-year-old wife was killed Friday in an upstairs family room, her feet and wrists were bound and there was blood under her head, indicating a possible struggle, Ballard said. Daniel was probably killed late Saturday or early Sunday, the body found in his bed, the district attorney said.

Vince Mcmahon will be issues an apology for airing the 3 hour tribute to Chris Benoit as more details are emerging as to what took place. Seems like the WWE is distancing themselves given new information being released. There are reports that it appears that Benoit also beat his wife "possibly to death" while being bounded by the hand and feet and that they have found needle marks in his sons arm (possibly trying to give him a lethal overdose)
