^ Washington has the highest min. wage. Oregon comes next at $7.50. Washington doesn't have a state income tax either, so their highest tax rate is 35%. Sweet.

I really don't understand any Canadian should be happy about this in the first place. Especially since many of our major cities are located so close to the US Border. It's so easy for us to go across and spend our money over there.

And to tie this thread in with the minimum wage thread...How can businesses be expected to give their employees raises when they're losing money to their US competitors?

Most notably, China, Russia, and Saudia Arabia.
