In the nicest way I can phrase this:

This is flawed in more than one way and does not make any legitimate claim of sense.

Other ways you can word your answer:
- "a healthy economy is a bad thing"
- "capitalism is bad"
- "it's impossible the US economy is failing, it must only be the Canadian economy doing the climbing".
- "Marx was a genius."

this has more to do with america's trade deficit and the federal reserve's bail out of wallstreet then anyhting happening in canada.

in the long run our dollar should be .80-.85 usd dollars because our labour productivity is 80% of theirs.

to have both currencies trading on par is simply the first step in introducing the amerodollar and unifying northamerica under one tade union. like a SUPER NAFTA.

thats where it is going.its so painfully obvious.

in the next 5-10 or so years im fully expecting to say goodbye to the canadian dollar,The Mexican peso and the US 'scam'back.

The big story reported now is how we all should be so happy to go down to the states and SHOP SHOP SHOP and fill the pockets of american buisness interestes and tourism sectors while the candian export, film production and tourism sectors and getting slammed.

without a doubt its a very fascinating story wich has made for some excellent news watching. As ive said before in another thread,i live to travel so overall im pleased to see the loonie doing so well.

I would understand your concern if this was a permanent trend, but it most defenitly is not. This is just temperary till Amerca sorts out their economy.

If I am wrong, I'll give you a hundred ameradollars.

LOL....ill take that bet!

but why wouldnt it be a permanent,or long term, trend? with our natural wealth, budget surplus, strong(well, used to be) exports why cant canada stay on par with the US greenback for many years to come?

i dont know these things, but if you or anyone else knows then id like to hear it.
