but whatever i can survive longer in a well than someone who doesn't have one

^ 150 is pretty much the "ideal" healthy weight for someone who's 5'9".

i was growing a gut earlier this year but it's mostly gone now.

Compared to what I was a year ago, I'm in a much better place. Yeah, I still got some extra pounds, but winter time is when I always get back into going to the gym. At the end of September last year, I was pushing 250 pounds. By the end of the year, I was about 205. I got down to as low as 185 in April, but right now I'm anywhere from 195-200.

I don't see myself dropping 65 pounds again (that would be gross, actually), but I hope to get back to where I was in high school, which was about 180 pounds, with a lot more muscle than fat. My goal last year was to get under 200 going into the new year, which seemed like a far-fetched goal, but I almost pulled it off. This year's goal seems much more obtainable for sure.

i was doing well for myself until i fractured a bone in my arm. All I did was sleep, eat, and occasionally go for a walk. Throw in alot of beer drinking for good measure.

Going back to work should help me out though. Still not at the weight I want to be

I'm in pretty decent shape. unless I start doing a lot of cardio or hundreds of sit ups though I don't see losing the small belly I have.

depends, i know guys who are 5'9" and are around 190..but they're wieghtlifters.

^^ Honestly, having all that extra muscle mass isn't exactly "ideal" unless you're planning on keeping it toned for the rest of your life. Very often that can lead to cardiac problems later in life.

Course, I'm underweight, miss my ideal weight by about 15 lbs.

i also just don't care all that much to eat heathly ALL the time.
