And if work starts paying for my parking in 2008, I will be joining Myra in her yoga resolution!

whoa. no one is resolving to quit smoking this year?
hmm, to spend less on crappy dvds. get my ass to the gym more than once a week. save money to go travelling in 2009. learn how to land 360s (if it ever snows). blow up a picture. |

From what i've read everyone has pretty realistic resolutions, the key is to actually setup a schedule. Major theme is getting into shape, i've been going to the gym three or more times a week for the last three years, its completely built into my schedule and is at a time where nothing will conflict with it. Don't have much will power? Get a friend who has the same hours as you and do the buddy thing. Most of my resolutions are just to continue what i've been doing for the last few years. Also try to find a gym within running or walking distance of your house, if you have to sit on a bus for twenty minutes its harder to get motivated.

Hippie?! How dare you stereotype me based on the length of my hair. I don't recycle, I litter everywhere, I smoke cigarettes, my bathroom is clean and my bed is a mattress and box spring not a pile of hay. Jerk.

I think quitting smoking on New Years is really difficult just because you're usually hung over the next day and want to smoke.
I decided to quit smoking last week and haven't had a cigarette or even thought about having a cigarette since last Monday. I think my biggest resolution this year is just to focus on improving my health by starting a steady pilates routine and sticking to non-smoking and very minimal drinking. |

I used to have a set schedule and I ran 4+ times per week. Having a constantly changing schedule and having to work OT when the need be has resulted in the "work over work out" mentality I have. I guess I should resolve to learn to say "NO!" to overtime.

hrm....
- stop eating poultry (I already cut beef, pork, and dairy out of my diet) - actually get to the gym the 4 days a week im supposed to and not just 3 like it usually turns out to be lol - quit fnk, so that i can fail at quitting and come back again like always - take a 2 week vacation at some point during the year might add more later if I think of anything else :) Last edited by Ms.Tarantula; Dec 17, 07 at 04:12 PM. |

I'm not a political vegtarian but I just don't really like meat. I would NOT eat meat if I could, but I find that meat gives you that "fullness" that other non-meat proteins don't. URGH. I dislike meat, but I'm still bound to chicken and eggs. |
