I used to work mad overtime hours when i was at the hilton(between 10 to 16), the key for me is that i would workout first thing in the morning, wake up, protein shake, gym, back home, if your about loosing fat its actually better in the morning because its boosts your metabolism i've read. But i also was starting work later in the day so it was easier then if you work 9-5.

You can make all the excuses in the book, but when you get to a point where it is important to you, you will find the time or make exceptions for your health and fitness.

you try working 60+ hours per week (usually with no breaks) plus a 2-hour daily commute and endless paperwork to do at home and tell me when you have time (and motivation) to work out! I barely get time to eat! like I said, I just need to say no to overtime :P

^ It's not the money, it's the nature of the job especially at this time of the year. I'm salaried - 40 hours or 140 I get paid the same.
At least I'll get a nice chunk of lieu time come mid-January.

As for you FRA, you clearly don't have anywhere CLOSE to the amount of work I have to plow through every day, or you wouldn't be able to spend a good portion of your work day fucking around on fnk. Sitting on your ass at a desk posting meaningless garbage on a website for 12 hours is a far cry from running a multi-million dollar business.

^ I get vacation days. Plenty. I actually spend them vacationing and enjoying my time off - not sitting at home posting my pitiful life away on fnk. You might want to try a sunny destination, it might rub off on your not-so-sunny disposition.

Time isn't the problem. Motivation is.
If you have the motivation to do all of that, i would of thought you have the will power and motivation to also eat healthy so you wouldn't be overweight. You may walk on the treadmill for twenty minutes three times a week but if your diet has fast food and candy with several servings a week the point is kinda moot. I haven't met you but your pictures are hardly flattering and do quite abit to contradict your thrice weekly workout claim.

Ps. the skinny blonde at the gym is skinny because she goes to the gym and has self control over her diet.

Agreed! Excercise doesn't have to mean going to the gym, though. I wore a step-counter to work for a week and it turns out that, on average, I walk 8-10km per day just at work. That, and the fact that I eat really, really healthy, explains why I have only gained 2lbs in the last few months when I haven't been able to run a few times per week.

Wow, that's a fair bit.

I'd be really curious to wear one of those at work, esp after a day like today where we had to walk in and out of the tunnel a couple of times..

From Cambie and Marine to approximately 56th or so, X 4, plus all the walking besides trekking in and out...

I doubt it added up to much more than 10k though!
