And yet when he says "we all have a part in this conversation", he is, of course, bang on.

Everyone trying to get elected has to make an attempt to appeal to the most people possible. When you can do it and sound like it's actually your nature to be moderate and to want to give everyone an equal say, then you're doing it right.

Maybe if she did it some time OTHER than just before going into a major vote when she's slipping in polls, her current experiences might hold more validity.

CNN makes predictions based on reporting precincts.

Fox (and some others) makes calls based on exit polls.

I don't see what's wrong with CNN, and they hold off making predictions longer than others.

I don't think they've made an incorrect prediction yet in 2008.

not if she's a politician, every public event is carefully calculated. if i saw any other politician cry i would feel the same way. especially in the american precursur to an american election.

Republicans are always going to vote republican, and democrats are always going to vote democrat - you simply have to hope that the candidate is strong enough and brings enough to the table to motivate people to get out and vote! I think democrats all over the US who haven't bothered to vote in previous elections are going to come out for this one for fear of another republican victory.
