they should resign him for pennies (1-3 million) and while they're at it get him a center and a right winger to play with. Sorry but Taylor Pyatt and Trevor Linden just aren't star players. otherwise they could not resign him spend more money on other players and let Mason Raymond have a chance at the number 2 left wing job. get the Sedins at kick as player for left wing and see what they could do.

get a fucking clue. he's obviously not worth 6 mil but he'll easily resign for 1-3 mil next year. Bertuzi got 4 mil... or Thomas Vanek for 7 mil or Scott Gomez for 7 mil or Chris Drury for 6 mil.
