needs restoration but i have ALL THE ORIGINAL glass intact!.

those things even midly restored go for around 50k.

Although, I think I am more partial to the beetle. I don't know what I will want to drive in 30 years, or if I will even be driving or whatnot, but if I don't own a classic beetle by then that is what it will be.

the color right now is stock salmon and white just like this



but by the time im done with it it will be eaither cobalt blue and white or mecedes silver and pearl im not sure yet...

the idea is to have it match the colours of my 68 cal-look bug.

im a serious vw aircooled fanatic and without a doubt the 21 window rag is the crown jewl...frame is rusted out so its going to take a while to restore but obviously its worth the time and effort to save a precious and ultra rare 21 window

I thought about modified cars too. but im of two minds about it.

on the one hand.. when im mid-life crisis bound, im going to be 50-55 years old.. and not wanting to spend the time wrenching on a car.

id much rather walk into a dealership and drop money on the table and drive out with my wheels.


on the other hand.. i could buy the car pre-modified.. and we all know how tacky buying someone else's personal expressions is.
