didn't i read somewhere that you're a robot, and that you simply plug yourself in at night? that would explain caffeine being obsolete, no?

wow now i wonder if its a design industry thing. i have caffiene in my system at all times.. im very restless and enjoy/need afternoon naps, but i can barely get 7 hours of a sleep a night. :( minimum 2 cups of coffee and maybe 1-2 more cups of tea in a day. not good at all.. but without it id pass out.
anyone else have any solutions on staying awake? i exercise, get my vit c intake.. anything else? |

i LOVE naps. And the only time i get more than 8 hours of sleep in a day is when i'm unemployed or on vacation.
So there's caffeine in hot cholocate eh... I guess i've been getting caffeine fixes much earlier in my life than i ever realized... |

I've had a caffeine addiction for ages. I drink a pot of coffee before work in the morning and then a couple of cups throughout the afternoon and evening. I also keep a flat of Diet Coke in my car and will drink one whenever I am driving (which is a lot!). I blame 55 hour (shift-)work weeks and University.
I am able to cut down when I'm off on some shoestring adventure but I have killer headaches and the shakes for weeks. Can you say withdrawal? I'm preggo now and coffee was the first thing to turn my stomach. Even at 5 months I still cant stand the smell of coffee! Hopefully I'll be turned off the stuff for good. |

If I don't have a cup of coffee within an hour and a half of waking up I get a horrible headache, and then it takes another 1 or 2 cups on top of that to get me going.
Throughout the day i'll usually drink between 3-5 cups which is HUGE progress because I used to sip double espresso's when I worked at coffee shops all throughout my shifts - sometimes i'd drink up to 9 shots within a shift. I don't drink energy drinks anymore though and if we had glaceau vitamin water in Vancouver I know i'd stop drinking coffee. |
