I get a kick out of all the people who poke fun and say shit like 'Why don't you just play a real guitar?'

Do they tell the people who play flying games to 'just be a pilot' or people who play shooters to 'just get a gun and do it'?

A game is a game is a game... play it for fun. Now back to the topic at hand... that guy is nuts. I'll never get that good. They say if you can play through RB on expert in drumming you can pretty much drum basic kit.

be reasonable. those games are usually to provide an experience that would either cost too much or bring death/jail in reality. The band games on the other hand probably cost as much as a learner instrument (and they try to parallel the growing artist feeling) it's a lot easier to learn the games however so don't get me wrong; i enjoy playing them with other people and having a few drinks and such, but that argument was kind of weak. it probably would have been more convincing to say that it's better to play GH/RB because becoming a rockstar would force you into a life of drug addictions and alcoholism.
