on a related subject...i think it's a joke how people get so excited over the death of someone, everyone gets on the phone wanting to be the first to pass it along. it's like in high school, whoever dies was all of a sudden everyone's best friend and it's so hard for them blah blah sure.

have you ever lost your best friend? cause when i did you better fucking believe i wanted all of our friends together to be there for each other and i was making phone calls at 5am! and it had nothing to do with wanting to be the person to tell them, in fact its the hardest phone call you'll ever make! it had everything to do with them not finding out from some random person and everything to do with wanting to be there for them as much i wanted them there for me!

I think what SWIFTBEATS meant was for every person that was a caring friend of the person there is another taking advantage of the situation to gain attention for their own selfish reasons. I've seen a few people get their asses kicked for lying about the relationship they had with the deceased.

Who are you to judge someone else relationship with that person? If you are someones bestfriend or just talked to them a few times in class/at work/out at parties, how are you to know how MUCH that person touched someone else life?

I understand how many in highschool take advantage of a free day off to attended a funeral.

well jenna hit it right on. the point is who are you to judge what that person meant to someone??? regardless of having a falling out, a bad end to a friendship, even if you talked badly about them at some point, it is a sad true story that some people do not realize what they have til it is gone.

If my brother dies tommorow and the next day steve-o makes a post about how much my brother meant to him and how close they were im going to judge him or atleast question his motives. Why? Because I know for a fact that Steve-o doesn't know my brother from a hole in thr ground and that hes using his death as a means of gaining attention to himself. You can tell who the fakers are. If its some kind words being said theres no problem but when a death is taken advantage of is another story.

shayna/jenna if you had read to understand what i wrote instead of jumping to disagree then you would have known i wasn't talking about people's best friends ect. i'm talking from experiance and i know people are full of shit. you are also the kind of person who would probably be setting up group meetings and dinners or facebook clubs over a death so i get it.

but yes i stand by what i said, people are fake as fuck and love sympathy for anything they can get it for, and yes i do find that pathetic and inconsiderate of those who actually felt the loss. i've seen it and been annoyed by it, again and again.

yeah i see what you're saying. i guess i meant no matter who the person is and even if they didnt know them well, if they are embracing my friends life than i can respect that. if they are playing the poor me card over and over again and not respecting the life that was lost then yes that is a completely different story!
