Ladies, i need hair advice pleez

i have long hair down to mhy shoulders. its shaved on the sides and its bleached, kind of a semi mohawk. my hair is pretty thick.

what the hell do i do to keep it silky? over the past 3 months is been getting brittle and tangles more and more easily... i havent changed my shampoo or conditioner. i want it like it used to be not a mess most of the time.

its driving me mad! what do i do?

Instead of asking people on here who don't want to help...

Go to a salon and ask a professional. The products many cost double or triple what you are used to spending in Shoppers but it is worth it.

i dye my hair several times a year. out of the 8 that it actually gets done, i only put bleach in 3 times. otherwise my hair breaks, mats and could remove nail polish on it's own.

I'd cut it all off if I were you. I hate long hair on guys.

BUT if you refuse, try frizz ease extra strength. Fucking awesome. Don't over-do it though, or you'll get greasy. Use a Joico K-Pak treatment once per week - keep in in for at least an hour and then wash it out. And use Redken Anti-Snap leave-in conditioner daily. It's non-greasy and won't weigh your hair down!

im glad your speaking full sentances to me about my hair issue. if only you could have given me advice on your make-up tip thread like you did here :)

Don't wash it/use product every day. My stylist lady advised me to do this. I am in the pool 4/5 days a week which damages it enough so it doesn't need the extra chemicals. Maybe it will help.

Ps: men like soft hair too, dick.

Shave it all off. Some damage is irreversible and it probably feels and smells like a dirty rat.

if you want to try to keep it with out starting all over again here are a few tips to keep it soft

use redkin extream shampoo and conditioner.
if your bleaching your hair your self, you want to get protein ( also try leave in conditioner, or the redkin conditoner and add it to your hair dye(if you insist on bleaching it dont use blondisma, use loreal maxiblonds)

*you dont have to use redkin its just what i use and i dye my hair alot and its long.

if its really bad you can also use placenta(sounds gross eh?) you can get it at london drugs in the hair section.

good luck....... remember always trim your hair every 2 months, it will help with split ends
