the new apps are awesome - personally I have experience with blackberry and iPhone and I much prefer the iPhone!

Rogers introduced unlimited data for $12 last month for smartphones
I assume that they did it in anticipation of the iPhone launch.
Apple has required that the wireless providers all offer unlimited data plans in the past, so I assume that it will be the same going forward!

iphonebuzz.com live broadcast said the 32gb would be $399
apple.com keeps changing under the iPhone heading, it hasn't all been updated yet!

att.com and apple.com are moving suuuuuuper slow right now

HOPEFULLY APPLE DIDNT LET THEM NERF IT TO OBLIVION (minimum contract length, expensive data plan, etc)

MAY GET ONE FOR A PERSONAL PHONE, BERRY IS BETTER FOR HAVING AN ACTUAL KEYBOARD FOR WORK ETC

yup under the 3G iphone specs it only lists 8 or 16. I think iphone buzz is wrong. People on digg are complaining that they didn't increase the capacity too.

^^ Once you get used to the 'keys' on the iPhone it's really easy to use...took me a few days but after that I could type really fast.

Apparently they brought down the price a lot because they want it to be more accessible, which makes sense since not a lot of people are willing to spend $500 on a phone. At&t contracts are 2 years, I imagine that Rogers will stay at 3 years. The plans for the original iPhone with At&t started at around $50 and included 700 daytime, 1000 eve/wkend, 300 text and unlimited data. For $80 you got 1000 daytime, unlimited eve/wkend, unlimited text and unlimited data. Pretty good deal if you ask me since I pay more than $80 for my shitty Rogers plan!

you know how Jobs likes to announce shit at these developer cons that nobody has any clue about.

I remember when he announced the first 30" LCD. It was neat because two minutes before he had announced the 28", which was to date the largest available LCD screen in existence.

32 gig might just come at a later release date.

yeah that is inevitable, I just think buddy at iphone buzz jumped the gun or something as that is the only site that did live coverage that mentioned a 32gb version. My guess is it is a few months away at least considering the other two are a month a way.

I THINK ITS THE BEST THEY COULD DO ON A TOUCHSCREEN BUT YOU CANT COMPARE TACTILE FEEDBACK OF HITTING KEYS TO A TOUCHSCREEN (IE YOU CANT TOUCHTYPE EFFECTIVELY ON A TOUCHSCREEN)
