i blame lack of training. this is why they show us those corny wcb newbie videos about training and how its unacceptable to not have it.
if i were the contractor i would never have a first day kid doing soldering in a 12 million dollar house. id have him doing bitchwork not the important shit that you save for your experienced tradesmen.

its hardly the kids fault at all, 100% his bosses fault. ill bet the kid didnt even know that expandable foam is flamable.

exactly. when we first hire help, i pretty much dont let them out of my site for at least 3 or 4 days, and never let thm do something on their own that they havent done before. its just a recipe for an expensive fuckup.
