Oh god ok so where is this list of stuff you forget to bring but need.
I've got the usual camping list done, but I have this looming feeling that I'm going to forget everyting I want this trip. :S Number one on the list. TICKET! 2.? 3.? 4.?

make sure you have an air mattress and that it works. 1rst year we didn't have one, 2nd year we brought a broken one. This, along with sleeping outside in general were the main negatives i struggled with. i'm a bit of a sissy tho
also, a huge amount of wet naps are a good idea. its nice to clean the dirt off your face.

-tent -chairs -cooler -sleeping bags/bedding (personally i prefer to bring bedding + a duvet) -pillow -air mattress/foamie -extra blankets -flashlight w/ new batteries -extra batteries -camera w/ new batteries (and film if you're old school) -camp lantern (pref. battery powered) -tarp -rope -bicycle* (if you have the appropriate rack on your vehicle for it) -personal touches for your camp* (decorations,signs,etc) -sewing kit -garbage bags and gloves (clean up after yourself! and pick up other garbage around your site, should you feel so inclined) -baby wipes -toilet paper -scissors -travel water bottle -travel coffee mug -sunglasses -body lotion -ear plugs -hand sanitizer* -deodorant, toothbrush & paste, floss -facial cleanser & cotton balls (or something to that effect) -soap -5HTP/Melatonin/Multivitamins -socks -sunscreen -rain gear (at least something waterproof!) -2-3 pairs of footwear -warm coat -warm clothes -undergarments -costumes* -bathing suit -tweezers -first aid kit -lip balm -toque & gloves -tampons/pads* -camp stove* -propane tank* (BE CAREFUL WITH THESE!!! ...a propane tank just blew up on the Kootenay Lake Ferry last weekend & injured 2 little girls. Make sure you turn it off!) -set of cutlery and dinnerware* -wash & rinse tub for dishes* -condoms Wink (if you forget these, they're available at the ANKORS booth!) -a length of rope for a clothing line* -clothes pegs* -insect repellent (i'm not totally keen on this stuff, but it is absolutely ESSENTIAL if you are going to be on site before the beginning of the festival. seriously. once the festival starts it's like they dissapear...but until then, prepare to get bitten.) -safety pins (come in handy for sooo many things) -permanent markers -some kind of tape (duct, electrical) -toys (hoops, poi, staff, etc) -your ticket Quote:
