people don't randomly lash out though, there is a reason why he hated lennon and its likely due to mental illness. in this stage of my life i hate souljah boy but im not gonna run up and pop him in the dome for no gain. plus looking at MDC's history even a professional who was very critical of diagnosing people with mental illness could see that he was definitely unbalanced. |

Anyone think that this whole not releasing his name is a little bit fishy?
Like how are they going to compromise a case by releasing this guys identity when he's already 100% confirmed as the suspect? What are they hiding? We knew who the terrorists were after 9/11 a day later but they can't tell us this guys name now? Certainly that investigation would be more sensitive to release that information but we got it anyway. Maybe some sort of backstory is being fabricated now so we don't know what went wrong during this guys 'treatment' if he was mentally ill. It would be very fringe to assume this, but it would also make sense if he was some sleeper that was trigger into doing this. Such an assumption is foolhardy now no doubt, but it will be interesting to see what effects this will have on security to really pan out on such a lofty assumption. *** Quote:

Can't really say that people just sat back and let it happen when the man is in custody right now due to some people's quick thinking. |

Something is really fishy about all this that's for sure. The idea that his name shouldn't be released because people he might be associated with is hardly good enough, he is the only suspect in this crime, and there's nothing to investigate really they caught him in the act red handed, literally. Something is being hidden here. The fact that it's only 2nd degree even though it's obvious without any doubt he did it should tip anyone of something is incredibly wrong here. But yeah we should just sit back and not care about who he is, let him get a new identity and be shipped off somewhere tropical so he can enjoy the rest of his life. Shit like this has happened before where murderers are treated like the victims. What about the victim...or his family? This guy should be stoned to death or put on the chair. He acted alone and is in custody, this isn't a bank heist its a murderer... what's the harm in releasing his identity? If anything, people watching that may know of him or anyone he's associated with could work with authorities to tip off the whereabouts of anyone else involved. But that is retarded because he did it himself. What is it about this guys past that we aren't being told? That's what interests me. |

they did though... "Sgt. Brian Edmonds said that 40-year-old Vince Weiguang Li, of Edmonton, Alberta, has been charged with second degree murder. Li is due to appear in court Friday." |

^^Thanks, guess I should have refreshed the page.
2nd degree though is still awfully fishy....where's the debate on this...he thought he was gutting a human looking fish? *shakes head* There should be no asylum for people like this, quick swift justice, this guy should be on the chair so he can fry a bit before he dies. |

In Canada, murder is classified as either first or second degree.[31]

mhmm. and since law is partially about chances and partially about not getting second chances at your case, they obviously dont want to attempt to charge him with 1st then him be found not guilty cause it falls under 2nd. sometimes they just play it safe so they can get the fucker for sure.

We don't know the story with this guy, but common sense will tell most of us that he is suffering from mental illness. I think when as a society we start shouting for a hanging, we become a part of the problem. It allows the gov't to continue to ignore the needs of the mentally ill. If you want changes or for these type of tragedys to be reduced, you better start pointing fingers in the right direction. Killing this man won't protect anyone from the next guy.

This event acts as a catalyst to increase security for land based forms of public transport.I was watching the news last night, and right after the report on the decapitation they did a report on increasing security and a bunch of security specialists saying "TOLD YA SO!!!!".
We're handing over our rights out of fear, we're fearful because we don't question or when we do we ask the wrong ones. Its only a matter of time before our every movement will be so restricted and watched so closely and we only have ourselves to thank for that one. |

Just read a report, apparently he was was rumored to have worked with or been a part of Canadian Forces....
....very little is known about him, he isn't saying anything and the media isn't effectively digging up anything about his past. He was said to have been acting robotically too,... anyone that knows anything about sleepers can see the parallels here. And his name was released on a new moon. Still very fringe right now to draw any conclusions of this being more than just a crazy random attack....but from a spiritual perspective, there are no accidents.
