Alright.
Well a pvr costs about 598.00 minus taxes, you certainly dont want to buy one used. you will not get a warranty with shaw, you can buy a non hd pvr for about 300+/- you can also finance a pvr through wells fargo and pay out monthly. you get a 3 year warranty with the HD pvr and a one year warranty with the non hd pvr. Might I suggest going with futureshit, ontop of the 3 year you get with us, you also get a 30 day warranty with the store. either way you go, you get some HD programming with shaw for free, plus a preview of all hd channels, and digital channels. with hd pvr, ensure you have at least red/yellow/white connections as the pvr's do not have a coax out. and when you do get an hdtv, make sure you get one with HDMI, component is standard but the PVR's do not have DVI out. the two types of pvr's DCT 3416 (HD Pvr) DCT 3080 (Non hd pvr) |

The firmware doesnt support the SATA input. No release in sight. If you move to delta, their payce boxes have SATA enabled advertised as a PVR with swapping capabilities. same with bell. |
