Renovated Facebook

Sorry I just got back to the real world a few days ago so I dont know how new/old this is. But whats up with the new facebook look. So far I hate it and rather have everything on one page. Is there a way to change it back to the old or have others waited it out and got use to it?

Haven't seen a single facebook thread on the internet over the last year that has had anything positive to say about the site. And people still ask me why I'm not on it.

holy crap, it's so predictable. someone utters the word facebook and there's dave with the same two cents :P why not do what i do when someone posts about something i really don't give a shit about (ie, their boyfriend, electro, raves in squamish) and ignore it?

up in the top right side of any facebook page I get the option to go back to the old facebook. The new one has grown on me.

Also, out of curiosity, what are some of the complaints with ff3? I haven't really noticed much a difference between it and 2, except for the page-searching option in the history... also I like the new download manager....

hate it too. They advertised the big changeover on the radio so I was expecting this huge amazing new layout and all it was was this ugly exploded version of the same thing. I changed right back to the old format as soon as they changed me to the new one.

I like that I can go to peoples profiles and not have tons of stupid aps loading!
Some people who accepted every application there was, would have these mega pages of aps and if I went on their profiles my computer would stall for a bit, this one girls profile always crashed and I had to restart the net.

With the new facebook it avoids all that crap!

What's the point of going on and on about how much you hate facebook (i also find it weird to dislike something you've never tried) ? You're not on it, so what's the big deal?

I also think it's odd to criticize something that your friends obviously enjoy. Like, when I have friend who enjoys doing stuff that I think i'd dislike doing, I don't criticize them for it.

To me, Facebook is very similar to fnk. It's just a bit more voyeuristic in nature. I spend time on both sites to kill time, interact with friends, exchange ideas, look at pictures, and find out about events that are happening around the city. It's like one stop shopping. I find that Facebook is also great for networking (career).

I don't even mind the advertising. In fact, it can be quite useful. My friend found a photographer that she's using for engagement photos through an ad on Facebook.

I don't see what the big deal is.

I think Ebbodave is just holding out for when the NEXT social-networking website fad breaks out so he can be at the forefront of that hot trend.

I use facebook; i like the old setup better than the new, but the new has instant message features

i use facebook for most of the thigns i used to use message boards for
its so lame that I'm using my real name on the web though
