reason is better to fall back on because you are looking at something from a perspective that lacks emotion- which imo can really cloud my judgment at times.

your instincts don't always coincide with lessons learned from mistakes you've made in the past and going on one's 'gut instinct' can cause some people to repeat the same mistakes time and time again.

i guess being a sociopath has its benefits.

Overthinking is my #1 cause of anxiety.

personally,

over reasoning things gets in the way.

i try to be guided by passion and instinct and when i trust that good things happen, when i don't its usually disaster.

Instinct is natures wonderful way of telling how one really feels,deep down in the soul/subconcious. Reasoning tends to be more superficial and prone to the influences of social values and fear.

Reason is there to keep your instincts sharp and intact so its best to use them together.

the thing is that logic and reason compliment eachother and people can usually rely on a bit of both in a lot of situations

the problem is, in ebbo's situation they are at odds with eachother.

makes me wonder what the situation is :P
