yeah man, the orignal joint i posted wouldn't even be half as good if the guys facial hair wasn't making that bad boy shine. unfortunately you can't tell from the picture but he has lines cut into the shaved sides of his hair.

My dad had a kenny powers mullet back in the day. If I can find an old pic, i'll post it. He looks raunchy as fuck.

Google search for "hockey haircut" also turns up wikipedia's mullet article.

^ nah, we're talking trash mullets. short on the sides which are extremely disproportioned to the back length of hair. Hockey hair doesn't even look like your standard mullet. Hockey hair is actually fashionably acceptable.

maybe a mario lemiux and a jarmuir jagr is as close as hockey hair has come to looking like a mullet.

you know whats crazy? between the ages of 6 and 8 i wanted a jheri curl, and my dad used to take me out to get my hair did at this joint that was co-owned by a crazy persian lady and a crazy croatian lady, this is on north road by the hannam market(hannam market is tight) before the koreans took it over and made shit taste better.\

im rolling with 'los on this one dave. there both completely different hairstyles, not due to the actual style because there pretty much the same in that regard. however the intent and the socioeconomic status of the people rocking said haircut makes all the difference.
