Ford??? BOOOOOOURNS!!!

Sorry, I had to say it. You're talking to a grade A Bowtie Boy here.

They're all small block cars. 357ci is the limit, but don't quote me on that. Nothing too fancy, all off the shelf parts. You can't argue with the 8000 rpm shift poinst though. Ahhh, yes. The wonders of a lightweight valvetrain.

450 horse is aboot right.

Why???

Cuz I love oval track racing.

And I love how you can buy most of those parts in your uncle's car through regular parts stores and Ford dealerships. The key is in the machine work, since the blocks and heads come bare and unfinished.

The point is that if you got the money, you can build a motor like that, using off the shelf parts. Can you do that with an F1 motor???

No.

That's why I love small blocks. They could do away with the tube frame chassis though.

Acctually someone else builds the motor for him

They are contracted to build the engines and all that so that nothing goes wrong although the crew does change the jets in the Carborator : )
