I remember when fiction family threw some cool parties. I remember going to one of the last static in a bhudiist temple Victory after hours as a young young raver ELectrostatic seeing christian Alveraz play in an Indian Log house and him dropping "La Chitara" Loungex, Xtcity, ED growing up from cyberstud to Matty3.1 to matty 7.0 to Mateo When I danced When afterparties were a given anytime after a massive I'm not to ol skool but I am also still a youngn

-when the eclipse was the industrial eclipse -when the odyssey on tuesday nights was the first club in the city to spin "electronica" on a regular basis -buying records at rhythm zone -buying records at odyssey imports -"Crave" "SuperPop" Nutta Butta" "Land of the Pharoahs" "Startrip" -"Epoch" nye at the Woodwards building -"?" a MASSIVE at a PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL in richmond during summer vacation one year -when the vacant lot near lucy mae brown used to be the red lounge -when rupert started the very first drum and bass night in vancouver at the red lounge -when the red lounge used to be the shaggy horse -when 23 west used to be the cruel elephant -when the starfish room used to be club soda -when automotive billiards was the spot to hang before going out downtown -yaletown loft parties, when the loft's were still grungy warehouses, not pricey condos -989 (?) homer st, the big place on the second floor with the car elevator up the back off the alley -getting in to luvafair for the first time with fake id......in '89 -when people actually broke in to warehouses to throw parties -when punks and headbangers hated each other so much they'd pretty much fight on sight.....now we have "a perfect circle"....thanks to nirvana. boh

i remember Sweet parties i remember mitchell island crackhead parties... i remember the java joint i remember parties at the apollo i remember minnesotas i remember the first plaza party ever i remember when riverside was cool i remember nice productions threw some rad parties i remember who DJ SHORTY is i remember CAPTAIN THEO and T-K-OH i remember $5 spanish cultural parties. i remember seeing oakey too for free at riverside i remember when agroculture threw wheres wendel i remember lounge x 2.0 i remember kandyfamily productions i remember a party every weekend i remember sundays at 7 alexander (not that long ago) i remember static fridays i remember XTC thursdays at ozone i remember pound wednesdays @ PALLADIUM nightclub i remember talksic tuesdays or cheers on tuesdays or city limits in abby on tuesdays wow - basically the only night that we didnt go out was monday. i am glad i dont do that any more. oh yeah i remember who tweke is too.... i remember getting my licence in 1993 i remember loosing my licence 5 months later i remember "well sorta" E-theater parties i remember seeing c&c music factory live in like 1991 i even remember listening to nwa in 86 hiding in the attic cuz of all the swear werds now who the fuck is old school

I remember when all the different types of music at a rave was just called techno.
I remember when the only raves out there were small underground affairs. I remember being able to go to any party and get a hug from almost anyone there by the end of the night. I remember parties that were under $20 to get in. I remember when E was just called X.
