wash and dry your hair in the morning before you go out sleeping on your hair is just going to flatten it if you put a volumizing product in, then blowdry, then sleep on it, that totally defeats the purpose! and putting volumizing product in dry hair isn't going to do much unless it's hairspray |

My goal in life is to create some "magical" hair product to de-volumize hair. THAT ACTUALLY WORKS.
My hair is so thick and a big pain in the ass...I have been going and treating myself at the salon getting them to wash it and use an ionic straightener on it. It is like TV hair for a few days. It takes me about and hour and a half to just straighten my hair. And i don't even have time to eat before work let alone do that. And no matter what anyone says...chemically straightening wrecks your hair and doesn't eliminate blowing stright and still using an iron. So far i found this little package from the uk that does wonders. But if it ever was discontiuned....my life would be a mess. If i could tranfer the volume in my hair to about 10 others....we'd all be so happy. |

Im not quite sure what you're going for.. you see there's volume, there's texture, and there's thickening all very different.
In any way here's some suggestions... Use a thickening mouse or a root lifter and blowdry with a round brush. Then try something like TiGi Catwalk Sexed-Up Body Building Tonic and flip your hair upside down and spray it. Rather then a middle part try a zig-zag part and back brush and tease the top few layers a little and spray with a volumizing hairspray. |
