Ok this is a question for the girls on here but guys, if you have anything to say please respond.
So, I have straight sorta long hair and yea, Its just not poofy enough for me. So, Im looking for a product that can help volumize my hair. Some people have told me that hairdrying my hair after a shower would help, but that doesnt work so yepp.. So im looking for the best product out there... Any suggestions?? |

Oh man, there's this exteremly good product for volumizing but I can't remember the name of it. It's in a long red bottle with a weird little suction-looking thing on it and it says 'volumizing' along the side.
I guess that isn't too much help...when I remember the name I'll let you know |

a really good friend of mine has the nices most volumized hair and when i asked her the secret she said that she uses a shampoo&conditioner called "inner science" it supposedly keeps ur hair really healthy and volumized. u could give it a whirl and see if it works. i know ill be picking me up a bottle of each. :D

im hair crazy and i strongly believe that its all within the shampoo/hair conditioners and treatments you do use in the shower, and remember to change up in a month or 2!
i use the frutus volumizing curl mousse when i want to make my hair curly.. im sure you can put the same stuff in when your hair is damp and lightly blow dry your hair with a round brush. im a big fan of fructuse hair prods and redken products. hmmm i have no clue but when i hear volumize i think blow dry, because you can fluff ure hair out and make it fuller. im against blow drying my hair because it damages and dries my hair more than a straighter. for more info in how to make straight, perfect hair..ASK ME! muhaha.. but tina ure hair always looks good. physique volumizing shampoos give hair a really nice oomph
after showering, towel dry hair...put either a volumizing spray, or my preference is a bit of a light hair wax on your roots and just scrunch it with your fingers and let your hair air dry. I have long, straight, boring hair, but that always seems to give it a bit of life. blowdrying to me just takes too much effort and damages my hair too much. |

If you want volume you MUST blowdry!
Try AG Infrastructure texturizer, I swear by it. And trust me, I have super long, super straight, super thin, boooooring hair that does nothing except for get kinked if it has an elastic in it for any period of time longer than 30 seconds! Mousse can also be a good option for some people, but I find that it feels like I have too much product in my hair, and often mousse can get stiff. Also, I find that after a few hours it's weighing my hair down too much - doing the opposite of what it should. |

Make sure to blow dry your hair after the shower and blow it from underneath (flipping your head works best) and use some moose or gell and mess it up as u blow dry! and then give it a good backcomb brush!

1. use shampoo & condioner that is recommended for volume (AG is always a good bet)
2. volumizing product (AG texture, werks nicley) blow dry with the round brush 3. hairsprayer for full body hair to hold your style in place 4. through out the day/night fluff your hair as much as necessary. |

shampoo and conditioner volumnizing stuff just cleans your hair extra well to not weigh it down so much...
keeping it basic, you want to stay away from heavy products..like thick conditioners, waxes and pomades cause it weighs the hair down if you really want volume, tell your stylist to give you a cut that gives you volume...products, rollers, blowdryers etc help, but it all comes down after a couple hours. especially cause we live in such a wet/humid climate i had a cut that naturally gave me tons a volume, which rocked cause i got thick heavy straight hair but when i wanted to get it even bigger, i used 'rusk thickening spray'...just spray on damp hair and blowdry, smells like yum if what you want is the sexy sexy volume...good luck, this weather isn't going to let it last but if you want big hair, go for thickening products...rusks got a whole line for hair thickners, but i love the thick'ning spray :) ps if you want to get your hair cut, i can hook you up with my friend that works at axis on georgia with 50% off ;) |

yea, Ive bought shampoo's and conditioners and everything before and they seem to not work.
I blowdry my hair when I get out of the shower, sometimes in the morning just to fluff it up. I think now im gunna go out and buy moose or something, because a hair stylist cost way too much, well for me that it.. |
