"Left Behind" Tim La Haye and Jerry B. Jenkins

A christian book about the tribulation and the resulting last days of the earth.

It's well written , and i read it in less than a week ( time to read has been limited lately)

I recommend it , if you can handle all of the christian preaching and rhetoric.

The story is solid , character development is there , and I find myself looking forward to reading another chapter.

It is the first in a series.... Probably going to buy the next book tommorow.

i read the first few books to that series a few years back and i enjoyed it too.

i really wanted to read about when Satan took over the earth. i wonder if it'd be anything like stephen king's "the stand"?

"The Reprieve" - Jean Paul Satre... although the more I read the more hoaky I tend to think existentialism is, and

"Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" ...

I have a question for readers though.. has anyone here actually ever read all of "Ulysses" by James Joyce. For myself I think I made it through the first few chapters and just couldn't deal with it anymore, sort of as in what the fuck was going on.

especially since you already knew that I had read the first three, had seen all three movies with Erin, and was going to borrow 4 and 5 off of you? I do not know... maybe you forgot because you've been spending WAY too much time arguing with that blockhead in the other thread.

Hehe, and the fact that Donnie Wahlberg plays Duddits makes it much more fun. lol

the only dragonlance books that i really enjoyed were the "Dragons of Summer Flame" books and the ones where raistlin and caramon go back and forth through Time.

or anything that had tasslehof in it. that guy was funny.

The only book I've picked up lately is the owner's manual for my car, to see when I need to get it serviced next. Haha. I need to find a good book. Oh ya, and time to read it. And location - a tropical beachside would be optimal.
