The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera. So far it's completely obliterated my belief in the possibilty of true love, but it's good.

Oscar Wilde is hillarious, his best play is (obviously) The Importance of Being Earnest. So witty!

I just finished The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne - Intense (psychologically) but awesome

Right now I'm onto The Aprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz (Richler) and an old classic, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (Twain), considered by many as the greatest American novel of all time.

READ!

ahh, this one has been on my "to-read" list for a while. i'm gonna go get myself a copy sometime soon :)

currently, i am indulging in the poetry of Sylvia Plath (and i absolutely love it ), and also just started "The Power and the Glory" by Graham Greene. oh, and i'm still making my way through "sophie's world" - it's one of those books i'm reading in chunks, it's lovely.

that's cauz there's no such thing...

but anyway: Satanic Verses (Salman Rushdie), The Prince (Machiavelli) and my latest edition of National Geographic...

Something i finished not too long ago - The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene, actually a book on super string theory (this is where most of you stop reading my post) and some of it gets pretty wacked out even for me (a physics nerd obviously) but if you're into theories that try to explain everything it's a good read.

I don't usually read more than one book at a time, but right now I'm reading the following:

--finishing up Life of Pi
--starting Atlas Shrugged
--midway though The Tao of Inner Peace (a hippy sold it to me for two bucks on Commercial Drive)

Next on the list are

--The Ethical Slut
--On the Edge of Darkness

Oh yeah, and various Nursing texts.

Just finished The Ordinary White Boy by Brock Clarke. Good read, if a tad short. Wouldn't be surprised if it ends up as required reading for a Lit class someday.
