i would definitely agree with you. most of the penalties were questionable. 14 powerplays for colorado which included four 5 on 3's. hedbergs second delay of game penalty was an absolute joke.

what bertuzzi did was unexcusable, but i really don't think he intended to hurt moore like he did.

totally strange game. for some reason i had to watch till the end. it was so unpredictable. makes ya wonder what will happen at the trade deadline...

Man Bertuzzi is gonna feel the wrath of the league after this one. Nice sucker punch but I dont think he was looking to have moore dragged out on a stretcher. Hopefully this isnt going to hurt the team going into the playoffs.

Don't kid yourself people and think it will be a lousy 2-5 game suspension. He will be made an example of.

Why?

1) He was already looking for blood after the Naslund hit prior.

I come back and check the score online @ nhl.com, check the hockey forums @ sportsnet, and see all this talk about Bertuzzi possible being suspended for the year.

I didn't want to post until I saw the hit. Well, I just saw the hit.

damn, that sucks. Hope Moore is alright. Emotions were high, and Bertuzzi is an emotional guy, but damn that was vicious. I'm not entirely sure the piledrive-the-face into the ice part was intentional, and I'm pretty sure Bert doesn't mean to seriously harm the guy

but it was vicious. Campbell is gonna have some work to do tomorrow. Wouldn't be surprised if Bert got the season, possibly part of the playoffs. Someone here said 3-5 games? No way man, there would be an AVALANCHE of backlash if that were the case.

Oh yea, and scratch Bert off Team Canada too, not just for the World Championships, but possibly any Olympic event too.
