bertuzzi....bert, shit......gutless, vicious and stupid. disgusting, you just don't do that, he'll be lucky if he gets 10, i think it'll be closer to twenty, and he deserves it, he's lucky he's not going to jail, i'm a huge fan of the nucks, but that was shameful, i know he didn't mean to pile drive his head into the ice, but you don't sucker punch guys from behind and jump on them. sickening, it'll be hard to cheer for him after this.

First of all Bert i'm sure didn't intend to grind that punk's face into the ice...Second of all man if this was bad...then look at havlat's incident. HE HIT the other guy in the head with his stick. That was sick. and he got only 2 games.

I'm hearing rumors on CKNW Bertuzzi could very well be out for the rest of the year. Thats right, no playoffs.
Hope that isn't the case....for the teams sake.

i am fully disgusted by this situation, not so much about the score of the game but by Bertuzzi's gutless, unclassy action. Bertuzzi deserves to get suspended for the rest of the season and fined atleast $10K.
If you noticed, Bertuzzi blind sided Moore, however the so-called face washing was IMO not Todd's intention. The colorado player jumping ontop of both of them was the likely cause of the blood. this was just an embarrasing nite from the start.
the only thing that im proud of is linden beating smyl's record...that fucking rocks...but i feel bad that it was on such a horrible nite. apparently the guys on the radio say that bertuzzi might be taken out for the rest of the season. i really hope moore is alright...that was a bad hit...and then to have three guys land on top of him definitely didnt help matters at all. apparently he's concious right now...and hopefully its just a bruise and a concussion....

Kenji : True to that. However, the pool of blood and face washing was completely unintentional. You could tell that Bertuzzi didn't mean to cause so much damage. He just knocked moore in the back of the head and fell down when moore did. After that he got jumped by other av's players. Both teams hate each other. It's just another chapter to add to the book. This just means that we have to make a huge trade. Why? 1.we don't know hwo long bertuzzi is gone for 2.If we acquire someone like Satan that would be sweet in the playoffs. I'm disgusted, but moore shouldn't have been on the ice with that much time left and with the score blown out. I mean Tony Granato is a ridiculous coach. Obviously you know the nucks are out for redemption use your brain moron!!! Like a lot of people have said it was gutless and stupid to say the least, but it wasn't supposed to have gone as far as it did. Now all we call do is sit and wait and hope we do something at the deadline.

That has to be one of the dumbest posts I've ever had the displeasure of reading. The simple fact is he through a punch from behind with the intent to injure. Anything that happens directly after that punch is his fault weather he meant to do it or not. This is not at all like a good consentual fight, this was out right cheap. Just remember the Colorado players would have never jumped in if Bertuzzi would have never thrown that cheap shot. This isn't the first time Bertuzzi has shown he has absolutely no class, thats why people are jumping on him. You should stick to watching ping pong or something.

People are making far too big of deal out of this. Does Bertuzzi deserve to be susupened? Yes, but not for what he is likely to get. Incidents like this happen in hockey all the time, because it was Bertuzzi and this Moore character we're never going to hear then end of it. I slept through the game, so I didn't see how long Moore was on the ice for, sounded like he was KO'd pretty bad. Not much to say other than I hope he wasn't hurt too badly. That is what the world of karma is all about, Moore knocked out the best player on the Canucks with a cheap hit and looked what happend to him. I'm not saying that what Bertuzzi did was right, but I don't feel sorry for Moore either, maybe he'll think twice about hitting someone like that again. Also I think Peter Worrell should be suspended too. He tried to spear some players on the Canucks' bench, and tried to hit a fan after something was thown at him. In my eyes, this game finished the Canucks season. They'll never go anywhere with Cloutier in net, and while other teams have made trades to improve thier line-ups, Vancouver has done fuck all. Will be interesting to see what kind of suspension Bertuzzi gets, I don't think it should be more than a game or two, but it's obviously going to be a lot more/ meh.

when is the last time u saw someone die on the ground unconscious. I can understand the sucker punch but what happened afterwards was entirely burtuzzi's fault as mu ch as i don't want to say that its right there
