yes barcodes don't mean shit....but think about it....if you threw a party..and your tickets had barcodes on it...wouldn't u scan them first? if they didn't scan through.... they would then be sent to the cops or security to check for authenticity. how could you just skip that whole scanning process and give all the power to cops and security...who i'm sure have strong biases against raves. |

from the second we got to the venue everything was in kaos. vip list was gone... they werent letting people in who had wrist bands on allready.. theyre werent letting fricken djs in....
all i have to say is if this party was held by a certain promo company none of this wouldve happened, because theyre organized and would never dream of ever letting anything like this happen....... but since other GREEDY people were involved shit got fucked up.... and now shit is going to hit the fan.  im so not impressed. bad karma!!!! |

so what makes u think it was solid then? if u aren't pointing fingers then why are u making such harsh statements just towards them?
...u say twisted went off without a hitch 2 weeks ago, what about 3 weeks prior to twisted, there was insomnia, there were no problems there, was there? if they couldn't organize jack shit, then why is they've also held partys just as big as twisted parties and succeeded? everyone needs to recognize that all parties involved with this show (twisted, solid, plaza, etc) should and will be investigated not just on this board..but on other boards also, many are "pointing the finger" at solid, and i see no evidence or reason of why. anyone else does not seemed to be questions about the situation but soild |

For the ones that it didn't affect i'm gonna be very clear on this.
Don't bother. plain and simple if there is an investigation than let it happen. we can all make sense of what is going on in our own little heads.. if you have a judgement. then keep it to yourself. otherwise you will start shit. and like veni c said. shit has already hit the fan When it all comes down to it. someone, somewhere fucked up. ok... let some time take this over and I bet we all will be clear as to what happened. Like Kraig said, Don't pass judgement. anyways. like always plur. also, it's a shame that an event like this had to overshadow the final plaza party. the party itself was pretty good. just... too bad no one really cares. just have to wait til the truth comes out, currently i'm sure the promoters aren't going to say anything, or aren't allowed to, nor should people think they're hiding from the public. once everything is cleared up, it will be announced

People that know the whole story are not going to speak as it would directly influence the investigation into this matter.
All the finger pointing and rumour mongering that is going on just fuels the fire and isn't going to make anything better. After the success of Twisted 2004 I thought the momentum was going to be carried forward to this event. It is sad to know that this ticket issue will knock things back a few steps and we'll just have to rebuild from what is left. For those who text messaged me, left VM and email wondering where I was Saturday night, well, I was at the venue but I never made it pass the front doors. I hope to see you all at the next event. |

e_boy - you are completely incorrect about individual tickets "sneaking" into stacks of legitimate tickets. To further, you sound like you know what's going on but plain and simple, you don't. -- Sorry to be as harsh as that but I need to put my foot down here. The purpose of this thread was not to start a bitchfest but more to keep all of you informed. -- Since I work for Twisted, I can say and speak on behalf of Azim and I that any illegal/fraudulent activity will not be tollerated by anyone or any company either involved or not involved with the show. FULL measures and a complete investigation is under way. We want to get down to the bottom of things as much as you do. -- This is why I initiated this post. Naturally people are inclined to take a certain opinion to things but I really must ask that any finger pointing or "rumour mongering" as Winston put it, to STOP. If it doesn't, I will have the admins lock this thread so that no further posts be allowed but I would really rather that not happen.
