Just to keep the community in the loop we have established a few new relationships to hold legal smaller rave events in and around 500 - 700 people. The several promoters and production companies are working very hard to open as many doors as possible right now to hold legal events but I think we all realize it's not going to be an easy road. Having you guys all keeping your eyes and ears open is a great help thanks.

I have spent hours and hours looking for venues, talking to owners, and thousand of minutes on the phone. I have booked venues only to have the owners back out the week of and I had to start the all over. I have spend large sums of money and gas and phone bills. I have done shows for awhile as I use to drive around with Mark from Static and help him look for venues. If you care to drive me and make calls for me let me know. I a don`t need pointers thanks. i dont think its that simple. not alot of buildings want an "illegal rave party" in it, even with all the proposed contracts and damage deposits. personally, if i owned a building i wouldnt allow a rave in it either. its summer time, and we are obviously having an amazing one, get some parties outside. and why is it so hard to travel outside of vancouver area for a party? so the 15 year olds wont really have a way to get there with a lak of car and license, but in alot of ways, thats a good thing. |
