I remember this one outdoor rave, my best friends parents drove all the way out to The Wack to pick us up. That was fun. My brother has picked me up from so many raves. Raving at 15 was so much better.

I went to my first rave a week ago at IMF, and I had the best time of my life. Me and a few buddies decided to go to one, and we all had a blast, very safe, met a lot of people and we are addicted, were going to Lange, SHifted and Apex. We were all first timers, and we didn't have any problems, much safer then a club, longer, more people and the night is yours to take, just enjoy yourself.
I suggest wearing something comfortable, since you will get hot, you will sweat, and you dont want to be in something uncomfortable for 6-12 hours. I personally went in a dress shirt, and shorts, with my nike shoes so I could dance all night. No, you dont have to dance, but its major respect to the dj if you do and dont be afraid if you cant "rave" since most people cant either, I was surprised. I mean you can always "barstar" if you cant dance, or just jump around, whatever you feel like doing, I was on E for the first time, felt loose, and just started dancin' with these glowsticks some guy gave me, and I had a great time. Since at IMF, the majority were drunk or really high, the atmosphere is very friendly, and you meet a lot of people. As far as drinking and the drugs go, dont bring them, since they do search you when you go to these events, and they will take them away, so get high, stoned or whatever before you go in, but dont get so drunk that you feel like your going to puke because you dont want to be stumbling to the lineup heh. The whole money situation, bring some, because you will be buying drinks for sure, or whatnot, but bring like $20 or something. Dont bring any weapons, or else they wont let you in, but once your in, just let go, relax, enjoy the music and have a blast. Like I said before, very safe, and you will have a wicked time, so dont be afraid whatsoever to come to one... hope this post helped you out a bit. :D
