New DJ's are bomb because they add to the ever-evolving scene and also they move forward the progression of popular genres... with new talents, busting shit that no one else has, it gets ppl who wouldn't otherwise hear it, into diff kinds of beats. its tight.

*cough* MORE LIVE-PA! *cough*.
Seriously. There's some *tight* acts hanging around the Van underground - MAX POWER is a great example, serious dancefloor techno action. I think more bedroom producers should consider putting together a live act - even if it's just straight laptop audio playback, I'd much rather go listen to someone playing their OWN tunes than yet another new DJ showing off their mystical ability to beatmatch... I'm not slamming DJs, but I mean, if you haven't been spinning records for more than five years, you're not doing anything we haven't all seen before... |

How is a new dj busting out shit no one else has? He's only got the latest records that anyone can buy. Old school dj's bust out shit no one has. You're just a walking 'i'm young and cool' factory, aren't you? ;) |
