Your employment
Just doing a little research.
At your employment, are you satisfied or dissatisfied. How would you rate your job satisfaction and why? I would also like to know (and here is the important part) How does your level of job satisfaction affect your preformance at your job. Now lets see if FnK can actually be constructive in my life hahah. Happy posting. |

I'm dissatisfied, I rate my job satisfaction a 6, because I get paid too little for the amount of work I do. I work more then reps, and supervisors combined. (I do business for a call centre) I enjoy the people I work with, and the work that I do - this is the only reason why I choose to work for the fucking rediculous wage that I do.
It does not effect my job performance, because I enjoy my job. I am dissatisfied with the pay more or less. I would be that much better at my job if I got paid for the work that I do. |

I lift boxes...nuff said. But if it wasnt for me and about 25 other guys, NOBODY here would have any produce...ya, thats right, there is a 1/25 chance that when you eat an apple/pear/any produce, I shipped it :)
Still, Ive been here for 1225 Hours and I am making 10.75 p/h, what a joke. 3/10 (not a 1 becuase I love the hours, I set them myself) |

and to answer the question.... no, job satisfaction does not affect my performance.
as lame as it sounds, i know that i have no choice but to show up for work everyday so i figure i might as well make the best of it and do my job properly. |

I'm pretty satisfied with work. Ehh it's nothing stimulating, because you could pretty much train anyone to work at Blenz, but i don't really expect to be doing life-changing stuff at this point in my life. I get paid minimum wage, but that's also not a big deal, because i live at home and the money is not vital at this point. Also, i guess my level of performance is affected, because i don't really hold any value to the position. i'm at school 5 days a week, and then at work on the weekend, so i wouldn't mind decreasing my shifts to maybe just once a week. it wouldn't be a big deal if i got fired either. so i'm kind of in limbo when it comes to that. i guess i don't do as much as i could (ie/ i always back out when it comes to surveilling the washrooms or taking out the garbage or something), but on the other hand i think that i'm a lot more productive than some of the other people working there :p

and yeah my satisfaction motivates me to make em get a's and make em more ambitious to make something big outta their lives. and seeing results just makes me happy!
but i'm sure its gonna get alot more stressful as the year progresses.. having to remember all that chem and physics shit i did 4-5 years ago |

i am pretty satisfied with my job. i dont enjoy that much but its a really good job to have.
i make lots of money. i get dental and health benifits i get stock options i learn invaluble lessons in buisness and how to deal with people. the only thing wrong is that its not my passion..and as a result i see myself leaving soon. also its had a adverse effect on the person i love the most. SO, now that i think about it. i hate my fucking job and as soon as i save up a decent nest egg im outta there! |

this job is great when it comes to pay, benefits, vacation time, etc. but its just so damn boring. How does your level of job satisfaction affect your preformance at your job. i don't think its possible to perform poorly at this job, because it is so f-ing easy. but if i got paid more, i would probably spend less time on fnk and more time working. except for the fact that there is no work to do. |

I would have to say I'm satisfied with my job - about 8/10. I love what I do and my coworkers are like a third family to me, the only frustrating part is how things are dealt with around here. I guess disorganization and sometimes poor management decisions is a part of many many businesses.
