My 22nd. B-Day party. I'm planning to rent a small venue in Surrey for the night and throw a party for about 100 -150 people.

Last year I had a house party at my parents house in Port kells, too many people ended up coming, so it was really crowded. So, this time I want a bigger place to party at and I plan to invite more people. I had two awesome dj's last year: Mateo and Carlos, so this year I'm planning to get a few more dj's.

Venue info will be released soon along with ticket price (at the door). Any dj's that want to come out and spin, let me know.

The only problem with this might be getting good stereo equiptment? Does anybody know how I can rent out stereo equiptment?

Also I dunno if I can allow alcohol, I don't want the cops shuting it down for under age drinking. Unless I make this a 19+ event :( Smoking might become a problem too, renting a venue is a huge responsibility. After making mad call today to venues, I realized its so damn hard to rent a venue and throw a party.

I give mad props to all the Production companies for throwing all those parties for us. Its so much hard work, now I understand more than ever why tickets for NYE 2005 are so expansive. The price is justifiable and reasonable.

If anyone want's to help or give me some idea's I'd really appreciate it. I want to throw a sick party and I don't want to back out after realizing how hard its going to be. This is my first party I'll be having throw a rented venue, so I'm a Amature :P

Ill come if i can get in for free....=) good luck seb ive been in the scene for like 4 or 5 years but i dont know much about throwing parties ive always been on the other end of things...talk to CrazyDave hes a fucking legend lol=)
