I did mine in a rainstorm in Burnaby a couple weeks ago. I would advise people to take their test there. I was the last test of the day, so she took me on the half hour loop so she could go home early.

Haha, that's halarious.

But, you know as well as I do that chit chat, especially for new drivers, is a distraction. Your instructor is not going to promote distractions. Yes, maybe a simple "mmmhmm" would have been nice, but honestly... No, just shut up, drive, pass, go home.

he didn't tell her that!? (see thread)

the instructor didn't answer his question. I'm sure you're comfortable with questioning motherfuckers who don't answer, but for the rest of us (the normal people), we like to feel validated by getting some response.

well, it cost me 90 dollars for the car to be rented, and 35 for the actual fee. *boohoo

heheh, but next time, the dude that I rented the car from said I could change the tester lady if it was her again. But honestly, if it were her again she would freak me out so much, my nerves would still be in a knot with the next guy. She was so scary....

then i'd take the straw and shove it your ass. then i'd push you out of the car. And finally, hit 'reverse' and run you over, and hit brakes while the car is right on top. Then i'd do a burn out and go fuck your mom.

That was before we had gotten in the car, ugh. When she hit my brake for me, it scared me, cuz I didn't even know that she would do that. And then I just gave up, it was so funny, I was smiling, like BEAMING and I would give it total gas, roll up quickly to the stop signs and make her head bob forward and then throw her back in the seat after doing all of my checks;P

Hey! maybe you should work with Elizabeth at ICBC and you two can be best friends. Do you like cats? I think she has like ten of them! ;P

goddy and Hemi, where exactly does it say in the manual that as a driver you will have to chauffer a dike bitch around and refrain from kicking her out. I didn't want her in the car, and I couldn't do anything about it. So I drove, obviously totally distracted by HER, preoccupying me with the fact that anything that I said would lay upon deaf ears, and eyes watching me with this feeling of hate. It was sooo uncomfortable. I'm sure that it's in THEIR manual somewhere that they should attempt to calm new drivers down if they are nervous and tell them that "it's ok, yeah, when I have to hit the brakes it's a fail, but just remember that for next time."

Hey, I'm not the one that was trying to chat her up about the weather and shit.

Maybe if you weren't so sketchy and could handle a little bit of stress and pressure, then MAYBE you could have passed.

Again, better luck next time.

I hope I never meet you on the roads, 'cause you sound like one wingnut of a broad.

How about knowing how to drive before you take your test? That way, she wont have to hit the brakes and automatically fail you.

What the fuck are you going to do if you ever start driving by yourself? Any little thing it seems will set you off into a state of total panick and fear. What about the day when you stop alittle too far ahead of a red light before attempting to turn right, nearly t-boning another vehicle, and some big ass juice-monkey gets out and slams his fists on your hood? Are you going to exclaim how nice it is that it ended up being sunny when there had been rain in the forcast, to relieve the situation?

Pfffftttt.

That's fine! It's when you get completely sketched out by that fact that you're being judged. If this happens, driving is NOT for you, 'cause there are a lot worse situations when you're driving then being judged during the road test.

like i've said in other posts, i love cars and taking my N test was one of the funnest and easiest things i have had to do. once they had you those keys to start the car YOU ARE IN CONTROL. you have to keep in mind that they are trusting a teenager they have never met before with a something that can go relativly fast so have some respect for the instructor. i had a wonderful judge, he was a cowboy. the first 10 mins were sorta silent, there was some crap music on the radio so i turned it off cause i like to hear what the engine sounds like. i did my test using one of their cars with the added passenger brake pedal and it was a cavalier ~cough~C-R-A-P~cough~ those things are so gutless, not bad room on the inside tho. i felt comfurtable enough to strike up some conversation so we both bitched about how crappy the car was and pointed out all the other horrible drivers. ok now Comox is pretty much a retirement colony and there are LOADS of horrible old and new drivers around here because i think that when the old people got their liscense it was HANDED to them so without the propper instruction they've turned into slow, BLIND!, not signaling/signaling 4 BLOCK TOO FAR! and waving all over the road

so hopefully people who are going to get their N please do your best to obey the speed limit and if you drive slowly, drive on the right lane so i can whip past your turtle ass without you getting in my way:265:
