Dave if you have a min-van or a compact vacuum (not your household upright) that functions on both suck and blow (haha, yaya), unplug everything, take your box outside and blow away all the dust/dirt/grime. Make sure you do this outside, cuz its a mess. Plug it back in and see if she is any better, if not.. spend 20$ or so on a new chip fan. Replacing a power supply can get costly. Good luck.

ps. Greenwire is an ultra-nerd, but as I've already stated too, it is a good way to overheat your computer and one should exercise caution - Greenwire's abilities still fall short of altering the law of physics after all.

Also make sure that your harddrives are powering down after a certain set time of inactivity, adjustable in the "Power Options" control panel, that will kill a lot of the noise when not in use
