i am a person who loves meeting new people, raves are a great place to not only enjoy the music, and party hard, it is obvious that it is also a great place to meet new people too. usually when you see a person dressed up, or wearing really bright colours, or have shit loads of candy on them, it is like seeing a welcome sign, that says GREETINGS FRIEND. i like it.

They're just like any other subculture collective with their own ideologies, dress style, and preferences in life, they're really no different from any other. I like candy kids. I don't mean all of them, of course, because like any group there are bad ones that ruin it for the rest. However, the idea behind them is good... that of happiness, being friendly, and such. PLUR basically. People that judge someone else (and beat up someone else) just because of how they look is incredibly shallow. It makes me sad to think that is what raves are coming to. I used to think that raves were where one could go to find ppl that were friendly and there to have fun. Not to hate. But, every good thing ends some day.

Your opinion does not make you an ass, but your assumptions and stereotypes do. First off assuming all candy kids are 14, which is certainly not true... and that they are all on drugs... candy kid is a label, but i didn't know it included drugs and young as well... anyways, i don't mean to sound bitchy. I am curious as to where you found your statistics? Possibly far up your ass? What a crappy place to search for information, it sure makes you look like an ignorant and uninformed individual.

In your post, are you talking about the 14 year old girls dressed in la senza lingerie ripped on E, giving each other light shows? or 14 year old Asian family ripped on E, giving each other light shows? Kids ripped on E is hardly something exclusive only to "candy ravers".
