When I was watching the news last night I was thinking to myself that it wont be much longer before he dies. It's a very sad day.

I'm watching the news right now.. it's having a massive impact on the world Catholic or not.

this was a man who lived to help peolpe. despite if i believe in the pope, its a shame to lose another positive influence on the world. rest in peace, may you be blessed with whatever after life you desired :)

wow.. this makes me kinda sad.
I have a necklace with his (the pope) face on it that he blessed the same year I was born, my dads friend was in Italy and got it for me. I am so gonna wear it tonight to show my respect.

I was born in Rome, I was baptised by the Pope... this is one day in history that will not be taken lightly. Pope John Paul II was the first non Italian Pope, he was Polish might I add, he spoke 8 languages fluently and has virtually been in ever country in the world. It will be hard to pick a new Pope that will live up to what John Paul II has done.

I share a bday with the pope.
May 18th.

He wasn't the first non-italian pope, but was the first non-italian pope in about 500 years.
