The city is the main problem, fire exits have to accomodate the crowd...so having a bigger breaks room results smaller exits for ins and outs between the lobby and the place itsself. Lights MUST be turned on so things can be kept in line (esspecially with the "METH DEALING" epidemic thats been going around according to the city...beahhaha)
As for deco, promoters can put money into those, but most people dont have the time to.

why not ditch the second room altogether? then you don't have to pay for the 2nd sound setup.. and maybe use some of the money that you saved towards more marketing and decorations. what's the capacity there, 350? maybe 500 by the end of the night? screw 2 rooms i say. do 1 room extremely well.
