Especially since there are people doing it at younger and younger ages..these aren't always the most profitable customers..as they have little income...but it creates a completely different market. A market in drugs for cheap, small amounts.. That's one perspective that you could look into* And even if weed was traded for cocaine...what on earth do you think that says?? Weed feeds terrorism? Or.... Does their law CREATE this desire for marijuana by being far too stringent in the first place? their own people who desire the product can't take the risk of growing it on their own because all grow houses stand out like sore thumbs?? That law that says that a herb cannot be grown creates the link to terrorism because it is so hard to come by. The worth of it becomes that of diamonds...and because we have drug addicts up here we get cocaine in exchange. If the US was to create a more fair law for marijuana and allow the grow-ops to operate..they would stop the smuggling of marijuana and become accountable. It's fools like you that see marijuana creating terrorism. We would STILL have a market for cocaine..but the connection between terrorism would not be marijuana anymore...WHO KNEW?? It's cocaine that connects terrorism. I've never seen a grower drive a 7 series Bimmer? Have you? |

the claim that smoking a blunt supports terrorism is tenuous at best, especially when it's bud that comes from BC where we have a very liberal drug growing culture, and so it lessens the chances that it's all being grown by Al Qaeda, folks and as it should be abundantly obvious by now, the anti-drug fascists who want to make an herb illegal, are actually the ones supporting the terrorists. But if you really feel it's neccessary to punish people for using it, because somewhere down the line, it may have been possible that trace amounts of weed could have come from Al Qaeda, why not ban box cutters too? For fuck's sake people, the way to destroy the black market is not to make everything illegal :Serotonin Look at how successful the "War on Drugs" has been. The more illegal it becomes, the more lucrative: Afghanistan retakes heroin crown Quote:

I can't wait to hear it;P To argue that weed in BC supports terrorism...in my books...your a COMPLETE dolt.. You could also say that ALL import/exports to countries that are led by terrorists support terrorism..and that would be more legit~ |

ONE is an import...THAT supports groups outside of our country that could be involved with terrorists. The OTHER...is an export...the money that is made from this export is supporting our local economy. You may argue that who it is sold to makes money from it as well...but marijuana is only made illegal by the government that bans it...and therefore becomes much more profitable and risky. Terrorist groups that have chosen to take the risk are making money off of the government policy of illegalization of weed. Up here in BC the growers aren't rolling in money. In fact because of the US dollar..the amount of profits being made on exports to the US is exactly one half of what it was one year ago...for any business. So it would make sense that they would want to trade for coke instead of money now that the dollar is worth the same. Straight up...weed just shouldn't be illegal. It doesn't hurt anyone...unless it's against the law* |

that is..if they actually make money off of it..
But if you are dealing with a few friends that grow weed only for the purpose of smoking it and sell it at cost...then that's not organized...that's just stupid;P HAha. I mean..who's not going to take advantage of the fact that they are growing something that is considered illegal? And make money off of it. |

Oh, the fodder... It was just so hard to choose which byte to trash! lou_belle: Please stop! You are an incredibly naiive dumbass! Your rants are loosely based on hunches and supposed scenarios. You've demonstrated that you don't have the first fucking clue as to how this town runs! Let alone, this country. Let alone, the planet. I don't begrudge you the concept that ganja should be legalized. I fully agree on that point. But, your wailings are really just too pathetically painfull to read, anymore. So, stop. Now. Please. Frosty (Can't bang head against wall, anymore) |

You honestly think growers don't make that much money up here? You must be dumber than I thought. You and Wum should go out sometime you guys would make a good couple with your selective learning.
To Wum: BC weed goes down to the US for coke, that weed gets sold down there, that money is then sent off to columbia for more coke. How does that not support the warlords and such in Columbia? Go read Hegemony or Survival by Chomsky. You of all people should know the "War on Drugs" encumpasses much more than trying to rid the streets of drugs. |

You know sometimes I think he might actually come up with something credible but he never really does. I still think he's pretty funny though for some reason :)
I'm pretty certain Wum just likes to get a rise out of us. Quote:
