is it just lemons squeezed? because lemonade is really bad for you.. all that sugar.. you're gonna cause way more damage than you need.

no, it's supposed to be a mixture of a few different things... but after some thought I have already decided against doing the master cleanse. I can cleanse my body in more practical healthy ways.

i think its more the other way around. i dediced to become vegan when i had had enough of my asthma and allergies. now that i do not eat any animal products anymore, they both have gone away completly. i also don't get sick (cold/flu/whatever) anymore. vegan is the best thing ever. sure its hard work, but obviously it pays to be healthy.

I don't doubt you're feeling awesome - that's kinda the whole point of being vegan, isn't it?

How long have you been vegan though? The last of my six or seven vegan friends from highschool and college recently had to stop being vegan, even though she's about as close to a nutritionist as you can get without having a degree, and was getting all the nutrients she needed. Problem was, she started having yeast infections pretty much constantly and was permanently exhausted...

She started eating meat again about six months ago, and she's fine now. :)

Another friend was vegan for six years, but then developed severe IBS, something I don't wish on my worst enemies. Going back to meat hasn't fixed it, but at least it's under control enough that he can leave the house now, to, y'know, go to work...

If your allergies and asthma have gone away, it's not likely beef that's doing it, but maybe the hormones and antibiotics they give the cows? Bioamplification and all that - did you try going 100% organic? My girlfriend and I eat 100% organic, and a lot of her weird little health glitches have disappeared... not like when the doctor told her to cut sugar out of her diet and go 100% nutrasweet... *shudder*, that was a *nightmare*.

no its all animal products. no matter what the animal is, it always has toxins in it. so, cut them out, and poof, sickness is gone.

i'm sure everyone is different, but everyone i know who is vegan, is healthy as can be.

and i've been vegan for 3 years, but was a vegetarian since i was 13 (i'm 27 now). all i did was cut out cheese and such (i did cheat and eat the odd fish for a while too), but now, nothing that comes from an animal, ever. its the smartest choice i ever made too. instead of ingesting steriods drugs for my lungs and poisons in my foods, i have nothing toxic going in my body at all. its simple to get all the nutrients you need to be health and stay healthy. the reason i find most vegans get sick after a while, is they get lazy and stop eating a full mix of foods and nutrients. if you stay on track, everything is fine.
