nervous + excitement = my tummy right now. |

Yeah man... pics or STFU. Haha, just kidding. Good luck, man! As long as you get something that means at least alittle something to you and something that you'll still want when you've passed your prime... you should feel pretty good after getting it done.
I've got three of em over a year ago and I still love em to this day. I want more as soon as possible. |

i would post the pic, but i'm too lazy to re-size it. i'll post one of the actual tattoo tomorrow night or when it stops looking gross.
yeah, meaning is definitly important. i've been thinking for years about this one and i am confident that when i'm 90 years old it will still have meaning. the infinity symbol is forever, right? |

my sister is bringing her camera, so there'll be pics.
i'm going to next! on granville. i got my eyebrow pierced there a long time ago and my sister just got her tattoo there a few weeks ago and i really liked them. plus it's close to my house. i wanted to go somewhere where i knew the people and the ubc sacred heart (where i got my other piercings) is too far away when next! is right by my house. |

thanks :) yeah, aaron did my sisters and it was awesome, plus he's a really nice guy. i don't know phillip either, but the design isn't very complicated so i mean anyone there would be able to do it i'm sure. if it was something really intricate and hard then i would want to choose someone i knew more.

okay, all done!
all you people that told me it doesn't hurt as much as you think it will hurt. LIES all lies. but then again when i told him where i wanted it he was like 'well, you picked one of the most painful spots for your first tattoo. but now if you get another one it will seem like a piece of cake' it hurt the most when he was by the palm of my hand or when he was going over tendons in my arm. but it was bearable pain. just hot and searing. i love it though. it's all bandaged up now and i look like i tried to cut my wrists, but i can deal with it. i'll take pictures when it stops looking so bloody. so happy :) now i want another one. i knew that was going to happen. |

How much did you bleed out? I had to get the one on my arm retouched when it was done healing because of just that. Monty (the artist) told me that it really depends where you get it but also, everyone is different. The band on my right middle finger didn't bleed half as bad as the couple on the back near the base of my neck. Anyway, congrats! |

yeah, we'll see if i need to get any touch ups after it's all done healing. right now it's under a big ugly bandage, but i can see blood soaked through a little bit. it doesn't sting anymore really, but just feels bruised.
i'm kinda confused though because the guy told me not to get it wet, but then i went to the website and it said that after you take the bandage off the next morning your supposed to wash it in warm water and dry it off (but not to let it soak). what did you do? |
