She was at my school and my fave art teacher before she took a job at McMath. You were lucky to get her. She is amazing... :)

boo-urns to funding cuts in education (epecially ART, which i teach).

now to hope some old teacher drops dead so i can *maybe* get a job. (not that i really want that to happen, btw)

*sigh*
I'm sad to hear that hun... I know a lot of teachers that I had the pleasure of working with lat year were laid off as well. We were lucky enough to get one of them back this year, but ya... It sucks for everyone to hafta go thru this limbo all the time. I'll keep my eyes on the daily notices to see if you end up at Hamilton... I'll track you down and say hi :)

First days.. hmm... I think in part everything has been too hectic (too much work, too little sleep) lately to appreciate the first days of school. I am so happy with all the classes that I am taking and it's refreshing to be back at UBC. I think that I will be super-busy this term, but it's the kind of busy I don't really mind being.

During my classes totally feel like I'm at a new school. Somehow there's noone I know in any of my classes. Next semester won't be so bad for that.

well it's just as well you graduated before i got there... it's so wierd teaching students i've partied with.

as for her email, i only have her Richnet account email which is only accessible for registered teachers in richmond, not her personal email. but you can call the school at 604-668-6600 to find out which days she's working.

what program are you in at ECIAD? i did the photo program- it was fantastic (grad 2001, so i'm sure it's changed plenty).
