The North American economy thanks you and your $300 jeans bretheren. In fact, please continue to do what you are doing so that the economy doesn't collapse before I land a sweet white collar job.

PS: Listening to women talk about clothing is fascinating.

If you want to spend that much on them, go for it... if they fit you that's what's really important. Ultimately it's all about how they look on your body, not how much they are.
Lies!
The Mistral Stretch is fucking amazing.

Moto jeans are pieces of shit - quality is crap, stitching is crap, and most of all the washes look so horribly cheap. Ewwwwww. Even though they're only like $40, it's still a huge waste. Plus you'll look like every cheap surrey tween...gawd they're almost as played as Dorinhas.

When talking about denim quality, you have to realize that when you're purchasing more expensive jeans or specialty washes they are not intended to be washed on a weekly or twice-weekly basis. The assumption that the companies make is that the denim will be babied and therefore stay in mint condition for a good length of time.

I have Mavis from 3 years ago that still look brand new because I wash my jeans properly. Inside out, cold water, hang to dry, and only ever throw in the dryer for 5 minutes or less to soften them up.

In conclusion, be good to your denim. If you treat your jeans properly, you could have a whopping collection like mine in no time!

I am a huge jean person...i wear them pretty much everyday unless i'm going to work.
I have bought many jeans in the past but by far I would have to say citizens of humanity carry the best jean for your money!
I just bought a pair on a recent trip to the states. i find they are cheaper if you go down there. Nordstroms has a huge selection and i bought a pair for 186$ american. In canada they would have costed most likely 260$ plus tax...so i saved a few dollars.
My first pair of citizens i bought 3 years ago are still in very good condition. when you buy expensive jeans, you have to take care of them! wash inside out and hang to dry...if they are too long, get them hemmed, or they will tear on the bottom. I have another light denim pair that are also 2 years old, and still i haven't had a problem with them.
Rock and Republics are only flattering for the tall and skinny!
You won't regret buying citizens, although they are expensive...they are soo flattering and last forever!
if you can't bring yourself to buy them...i would go for silver jeans or dish...both have really great styles.
happy jean hunting!

Man I wonder if id be able to take care of them. I mean I try, but im a busy person and just dont have always have the time to give jeans the tlc they always need...

I ALWAYS wash in cold water and inside out and usualy a prem. press or gentel wash. Most of the time im able to hang dry them and then throw them in the dryer for like 5-10 min on a low heat, however sometimes I just dont have time and have to through them in soaking wet :/

But I think my biggest problem would be that I like to wash my cloths weekly!?! If I really watched it I could probly wash them every 1.5 weeks or 2... would they still last? I mean I thought they quality lasting jeans right?

^ I nearly fainted at the sight of all the beautiful Citizens at Saks in Portland. I wanted to cry tears of joy - until I realized that there were no size 25s in the styles I wanted.

NEXT TIME.

FOUR WEEKS.

HOLY SHIT !@^%$@%$

Seriously, how often are you going to wear them? Twice a week, max right? So once you stretch 'em out just spray the bum/thighs with water and throw them in the dryer for 10 mins on medium. That will shrink them back up and you won't have to wash them until you've worn them another 2-4 times.

<3

They'll last.

I duno, maybe im just really paranoyed about wearing 'dirty' cloths. Im cool wearing pants 2-3 times a week depending what they went through. If I wore them at work they wouldnt get dirty at all... but after a weekend around spilt drinks is kinda hard to let them last another week. Maybe this is why all you punks have a collection of them LOL

^ Build the collection.

The last time I wore my dark Sevens was to Z-Trip.
They've been sitting in the laundry basket ever since.
This shows how often I need to do laundry. LOL. About once or twice a month.

Build the collection :P
