^ dude brent johnson got picked up off waivers and plays for The capitols now

they must mean wade flaherty i heard on Cknw something about how much he makes was keeping him from coming up to the NHL.

He's had steller seasons in the past, before he came to the Moose. Also he has played for the likes of San Jose, Tampa and the New York Islanders although only as a relief goalie.

Apparently its most likely going to be Rob McVicar of the Manitoba Moose getting the call up.

He is the backup to the started Wade Flaherty who has 1.74 GAA and 2 shutouts already, but cannot be called up cause he is making $75,000, and he would have to clear waivers before being able to play for the Canucks. Stupid rule in the C.B.A

so we get the backup of the Manitoba Moose not too comforting is it.
