i dont think its the age thats an issue here, my friends and i never dressed the way they do now when we started partying, and sum of us were their age when we started partying.
i think after the years, it just gets trashier. i think if its that bad, put a dress code on, such as no wearing panties as clothes! |

obviously certain promoters are targeting younger children. if you think they are wrong to do that then boycott their shows or write letters to the city. people always have a lot of opinions but they don't often do anything with those opinions but bitch.

hahahaha....funny
I think its a good thing to bring certain restrictions on dressing, its not necessarly always the age( of course with no exagerations...) But Thats what we do in certain places and should cause it works farely well, the ambience is often better when people are dressed well, and people are often less afraid to approach people, and more people realize the vibe is better.... I THINK THERES A MINIMUM OF SELF RESPECT, So I do think we should apply this more often... Im supposing thats just some random youngster party, But I havn't seen it much for adults here Last edited by maztraz; Dec 12, 05 at 11:55 PM. |

If promoters cared for the 'rave scene' then they wouldn't allow shit like this to happen. Prime example are the boys at Silverwaters/Agroculture, they happen to on one hell of a show WITH liquor and have a proper license and managed to keep that running till 5am.
Promoters sit back and pretend like they cant do anything about it, when really they can, they just dont want to because they like the money and its easier this way. |

Budding minds and emo teens find an outlet and sub culture where it's cool to be different, where 'life' is "all about the music", and one little pill can make you sociable enough to be everyones friends. Ever increasingly whorey MTV backs up the belief that girls who put out and dress like whores get to g-ride it up that ultra sexy guy. Ten to one odds say those girls made plenty of older girl and guy friends, maybe even got lucky for the first time, cuz when you're in highschool those older 'more mature' guys are sexy and daring aren't they? Are promotors going to turn that person away at the door? Ya, some might. I'll bet my right nut though, if anything happens, they'll say she came in dressed, what's it to them if she lost some of her clothes. She paid big money to come to the show, she can do what she wants, as long as she has fun. As long as she comes back for more. There's no moral accountability when it comes to raving. Most 16-18 year olds can't figure out life isn't one big rave, how can you expect someone younger? |

^ I don't think you get it Maxie, kids have been going to raves for a long time. I was at raves when I was 15-16 and a lot of friends my age came, but they didn't dress like cheap whores, only a small minority of 'barstars' did back then.

Well I went to Sinful and Trancemission that were put on by Evolve and the were okay. They do somehow manage to find all the young ones. Don't get me wrong, they do bring decent headliners (if that genre appeals to you) and they do have wicked setups, but thats about as much credit as they get.
Well im going to be boycotting all shows that are in ANY way affiliated with Evolve Entertainment. |
